Welcome to the toplist for the incredible comic book community – the Comic Blog Elite! The Comic Blog Elite toplist is an uncanny resource for fans, creators, retailers, and publishers to identify the very best comic blogs on the net. Adding your blog to this spectacular toplist is the perfect way to reach new readers interested in exactly what you have to offer, and to see where your site falls amongst your mighty competition.
But in order to join the toplist, your site must meet the following criteria:
Your site must be a BLOG. If your web presence manifests as a log of reverse-chronologically ordered posts, you’re in business. If you’re not sure whether your site qualifies as a blog, it probably doesn’t. But if you consider yourself a comic blogger, odds are you have a comic blog.
Your blog should be part of the free web -- ie, it cannot be a pay site and there should not be any registration required to access your content.
Your blog should focus on the discussion of comics – print comics, web comics, mainstream comics, indie comics, old comics, new comics, a specific title or creator (yes, even if it is your title or you are that creator), comic-creating techniques, or simply comic news and reviews. “Magazine-style” megasites will be considered on a case by case basis, based on the prominence of any blog component. Your blog should represent the voice and spirit of the comic community – whether you’re a fan or a creator; whether you’re established in the industry, just breaking in, or happy to sit back and celebrate other people’s work that you enjoy. The toplist is NOT designed to rank comic shops or publishers, though we do appreciate the integral role both play in fueling the comic blog community.
If you’re still interested and your site fits the bill, please fill out the form below. Once your site is approved, you’ll receive the html code to install on your site. Installing this code on your site will allow us to track your daily pageviews and, in turn, actively rank your blog on the toplist. Note that there are a lot of stat trackers out there and they rarely ever match up. The stat tracker we employ is usually consistent with Google Analytics stats, slightly below those from Sitemeter, and way below the inflated stats produced by stat trackers like Webalizer that comes with your standard webhost.
If you install the code correctly, our site badge will appear identifying your site as part of the Comic Blog Elite. That's it. Your readership will do the rest!

Social Promotion
Comic bloggers of the World Wide Web unite! We all share a common interest – comics. Making them, reading them, loving them, or hating them, comics are what we’re all about. And it’s what our readers are all about too. Just like them, we’re fans and creators who are fans of creators (and sometimes creators of fans). So whether you’re a blogger looking to extend your readership, a small press creator trying to find the best sites to promote your book, or just a fanboy or fangirl looking for some buzz, social promotion is the way to bring us all together. Publicize quality comic blogging by joining one or more social sites like Digg, del.icio.us, or StumbleUpon and bookmarking posts you enjoy during your daily browsing. And, of course, make sure your favorite comic blogs make the list of the Comic Blog Elite.
